Andrey and Olga.
We were in Armenia from May 16 to 26, 2011.
We used Gyur Service to book an apartment in Yerevan and a hotel on Sevan.
I recommend this company to independent travelers.
They meet you at the airport and provide a transfer.
In my opinion, the tour program is flexible and convenient. The bus fleet is new. Prices are affordable.
I would have liked more informative and interesting tour guides—after all, Armenia’s history, culture, and epic deserve it. I’d especially recommend that guides talk more during trips about Armenian cuisine (dishes, gastronomic variety, and the production and types of drinks). I liked Artsakh—it’s something extraordinary. You can’t always find it even in Yerevan. Especially the mulberry one, aged for 3 years (I think it’s the gold one). Another masterpiece is apricot vodka. We were returning from Jermuk via the village of Areni, and at the wine tasting they offered us apricot vodka. For some reason, we bought 0.5 L. My wife and I drank it all that same evening over dinner. And it’s pretty strong—somewhere around 60–65%. Later, we regretted not buying more. But you need to buy it there (at the factory), because none of the apricot vodka I bought in Armenia compares to the one from Areni.
First of all, the aroma is so wonderful that if you spill a drop of alcohol on a napkin, you’ll carry that napkin around with you for a long time, savoring its heavenly fragrance. So, for everyone who likes Armenian alcohol, in addition to all the interesting things you’ll come across there, I recommend:
- Artsakh Mulberry (gold)—it’s cognac-colored (a four-sided bottle, 0.5 and 1.0 L), 60%—a good cure for stomach ulcers, by the way. I only saw it in Sevan.
- Artsakh Dogwood (a clear, strong spirit)—available in the Zvartnots Airport duty-free.
- Apricot vodka from the village of Areni. (There is apricot Artsakh in stores, but it’s not as aromatic.)
- Pomegranate wine (you can also find vodka).
- Sudjuk with walnuts—Armenian churchkhela (it can be made from grape juice or mulberries).
Feel free to take all of this home with you.
-Dried peaches stuffed with walnuts and coated in sugar, and much more.
Next time we go to Armenia, I really want to visit the Aragats region and Karabakh, and I’ll use Gyur Service.
With love and respect for Armenians and Armenia, from Belarus, Andrey Petushkov.
By the way, my father served in Echmiadzin from 1959 to 1962
in a tank division. To this day, he fondly remembers the Armenian land and its people.

Auto-translatedI used your services in the summer of 2010, but the memories of those trips still warm me and my children. Knowledgeable guides, a friendly atmosphere, a cool bus interior! I could talk endlessly about the trip to Artsakh; everything was organized to a high standard, and the cuisine delighted us with traditional dishes. Where else would my children have tried matsoni made from buffalo milk or jingalov hats?. In short, I felt as if I’d visited my grandmother... my beloved babo...

Thank you so much to all the Hyur team, for a very interesting and enjoyable fortnight in Armenia, May-June 2011.
I took almost every day tour available, and saw many beautiful places. Especially good was the weekend tour with your excellent guide, staying overnight in the Yeghevnut at Goris. And, Tata singing in one of the chambers of Geghard was another highlight.
It was feasible to come to Armenia, only because I was able to make all arrangements of guaranteed accommodation and tours from Australia, beforehand.
May I wish everyone at Hyur, a very happy and prosperous New Year, from Nola Rennie -

We were four people from Norway that stayed in Yerevan eight days in April/May 2011.
We were extremely satisfied with all the services Hyur Service provided for us. We found your assistance with planning the trip very helpful.
The week we stayed in Yerevan was wonderful. You had chosen very interesting daytrips for us. The guides were friendly and had good knowledge of Armenia's history and culture. If we go for a second trip to Armenia we will defenitely use your services again. We have alredy recommended your agency to friends who are planning a trip to Armenia this year.
Best regards

Happy New Year!
We were guests in your hospitable country in October 2011 and used your company’s services several times. We were pleasantly surprised by your responsiveness, kindness, and willingness to help in any situation. Anait’s favorite phrase, “no problem,” became our favorite phrase too. We wish you good health and continued prosperity, and hope to see you again soon.

Dear Nina, Rubina and all in Hyur,
Let me to send you my best wishes of Happy New Year 2012, peace and love in your families, good friends and success in your personal and professional life. And merry and blessed Christmas time for you all.
Let me also to thank you for your cooperation in preparation of our tour to Armenia this year; several participants told me at the Yerevan airport that our trip was their best tour ever, and the success goes mainly to what Nina in the office and Rubina in the bus did for us.
The next year I am not going to organize a new tour, I am not a travel professional, I just wanted to show Armenia to my friend and I guess I succeeded to make more than 70 people to fall in love with your country, but now I need to relax a bit. Nevertheless I left a part of my heart in Geghama mountains, and I also have so many friends in Armenia that I feel I will come again.
Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year 2012,

Auto-translatedDear "Hyur Service" team,
Dear "Hyur Service" team,
Thank you very much for the Christmas greetings; we were very pleased to receive them. The holiday is still ahead of you, so I would also like to wish you good health, a few peaceful hours, and happiness in your personal and professional lives.
I would really like to sincerely apologize for forgetting to send you feedback. That’s not like me; I simply didn’t think of it again, partly because I had written to our guide, Saruhi, and our driver right after the trip. Of course, this has a different importance for your company.
So before the end of the year, I would like to share my impressions with you. They may not bring you any new insights, since the trip was perfect for us.
This applies to every aspect of the trip:
The accommodations were typical of the country and were not aimed at five-star luxury; we wanted to get to know the country, not sleep in luxury.
The restaurants and dishes we chose were also typical of the country, so we were able to get a good impression of the country’s customs.
The tour was also planned so that the daily legs were not too long and there was enough time for each of the sights.
However, I must single out the work of our guide, Saruhi, and our driver, Wardan. They both fully accommodated our wishes and did everything to make the vacation a dream come true for us.
We were there during the Pan-Armenian Games in Yerevan. I don’t know whether it would have been possible or not, but perhaps attending a cultural or sporting event might have been an option. Perhaps this would also have been possible in another city. We didn’t feel that anything was missing while we were in Armenia, but afterwards I found myself thinking that current culture had perhaps been a little overlooked compared with the overwhelming history, which Saruhi explained to us perfectly. Saruhi also clearly explained the current political problems to us.
In summary, I can only say once again that everything was perfect. Saruhi and Wardan deserve special mention. You should definitely continue working with both of them.
I wish you a few more peaceful hours with your families or colleagues.
Many thanks again for everything. We will surely remember your country for a long time to come.
Best wishes from the Hantsch family

Best wishes from the Hantsch family Sehr geehrtes "Hyur Service"-Team,
An beiden sollten Sie

The trip to Tbilisi in June 2011 with your driver was especially memorable. You're always impeccable! Thank you!
