Barbecue Festival
Barbecue is one of the most widely spread dishes of the Armenian cuisine. There exist thousands of various recipes for preparing it, yet the popular one includes shredded small cuts of pork, lamb, fish, chicken or vegetables, cooked on charcoal in mangal (grill). Barbecue festival is annually celebrated in Akhtala town with a purpose to develop Armenian culinary traditions. During the festival one can observe barbecue master classes by the best chefs across the country. This "appetizing" festival is waiting for your participance!
