    If you prefer a private vehicle, a flexible start time or a customized route, a private tour may be a better fit.

    Are discounts available on group tours in Armenia?

    Yes. The booking form uses the following age categories: infants aged 0-3 travel free of charge, children aged 3-8 receive a 50% discount, and the standard adult rate applies from age 8. Additional promotions or special prices may also be available from time to time. The price shown for your selected date and participants is the current applicable rate.

    Will a group tour be cancelled if there are too few participants?

    No. Hyur Service group tours have guaranteed departure and are not cancelled because of a low number of participants, even if only one person has booked. Changes or cancellation may still be necessary for severe weather, force majeure or safety reasons.

    What should I bring on a group tour in Armenia?

    Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather and the places on your route. It is also useful to carry some Armenian Drams (AMD) for lunch, souvenirs or small purchases where card payment may not be available. Depending on the season and itinerary, bring sun protection, a warm layer and any personal medication you may need.

    Is the duration of each group tour fixed?

    The tour page shows the expected duration, but the actual return time can vary because of traffic, weather, road conditions, the group's pace or other circumstances during the route. If you have a flight, train or another time-sensitive plan after the tour, contact us before booking so we can advise whether the timing is suitable.

    Can couples or friends sit next to each other on the group tour vehicle?

    Seats are not assigned in advance. If sitting together is important, arrive at the meeting point early so you have a better choice of available seats. Our team will help where possible, but adjacent seats cannot be guaranteed.

    How is lunch organized on full-day group tours?

    Lunch is not included in the group tour price. On tours lasting more than 6 hours, a lunch stop is normally planned at a local restaurant. Menus with 4 pre-arranged options are provided before arrival so you can choose in advance, and each guest pays the restaurant directly. We recommend carrying Armenian Drams (AMD), as card payment may not always be available.

    What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of a group tour?

    Group tours normally operate in different weather conditions. If severe weather makes the tour unsafe, Hyur Service may reschedule or cancel it. In that case, you will be informed and offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule.

    In which languages are Hyur Service group tours conducted?

    Group tours are conducted in English and Russian consecutively. When booking, you can select your preferred language, but both languages may be used during the same tour.

    If you want a tour in one language only, consider our private tours, where guides are available in English, Russian, Armenian, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi and Chinese.

    Is tipping the guide or driver mandatory on group tours?

    No. Tipping is optional and is never required. If you are happy with the service, you may leave a tip at your own discretion. A review after your tour is also greatly appreciated.

    Is hotel drop-off provided after a group tour?

    No. Hotel drop-off is not included after group tours. The standard ending point is the Hyur Service Head Office at 96 Nalbandyan Street, Yerevan, Armenia, unless another ending point is specifically stated for the tour.

    My hotel is not listed for group tour pick-up. What should I do?

    Free pick-up is available only from the selected central Yerevan hotels shown during booking. If your hotel is not listed, you can choose a nearby listed hotel as your pick-up point or come directly to the meeting point at the Hyur Service Head Office, 96 Nalbandyan Street, Yerevan, Armenia.

    I booked a group tour online but have not been contacted. Is my booking confirmed?

    Yes, if you completed payment and received the booking confirmation by email, your group tour is confirmed. You do not need a separate phone call from our team. We will contact you only if additional information is needed or if there is an important update about your tour.

    Can I reserve a group tour now and pay later?

    No. Group tours require full payment to confirm the booking. Once payment is completed successfully, you receive an immediate confirmation. If you have difficulty paying online, contact our team for assistance before the tour.

    Can I change the date or number of participants in my group tour booking?

    Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Changes such as moving to another date or adding participants depend on availability and may affect the price. If the change is treated as a replacement of an existing tour, the applicable cancellation and replacement conditions may also apply.

    What is the cancellation policy for Hyur Service group tours?

    If you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount paid is fully refunded. For a later cancellation or no-show, no refund is provided. A replacement with another available tour or service may be possible; in that case, 20% of the cancelled tour price is kept as a penalty and the remaining amount can be used toward the replacement.
