Tour guide Yarvan is a pro in his field. He’s incredibly knowledgeable. He answers every follow-up question fully and thoroughly. Excellent language skills. Competence and tolerance. Stunning mountain scenery. Just the way I like it. Canyons, monasteries. You look around 360 degrees and admire the nature and historic monuments.

Good day. We went on an excursion to the monasteries of Khor Virap and Noravank, and the village of Areni. The experience exceeded all my expectations. We weren’t even disappointed when we didn’t see mighty Ararat beside Khor Virap Monastery. But on the way, at the mountain pass, we saw it in all its glory. Our driver Levon, who was very professional, by the way, stopped at a lookout point, and we got some wonderful photos. Visiting Noravank Monastery will remain the most memorable part of our trip. Number one in Armenia, in our opinion. We made a small change to the itinerary, replacing the visit to the winery with a visit to the fortress of the Holy Mother of God in the village of Areni, built by the same architect who took part in the construction of Noravank Monastery. Levon drove us right up to the church—it was a revelation for us. We also saw an ancient cemetery. So beautiful. This church seems to grow right out of the mountain toward the sky. And to top off the trip, we had lunch that Levon had arranged. A special thank-you to Levon for lunch and wine. We spent the rest of the evening wishing you good health. Thank you, Yur Servis. We’ll be back—we still haven’t seen Tatev, but that can be fixed.

Не расстроились даже после того как не увидели могучий Арарат рядом с монастырем Хор Виап. Зато по дороге на перевале мы увидели его во всей красе. Водитель Левон, кстати очень профессиональный, остановился на смотровой площадке, и у нас получились чудо снимки. Посещение монастыря Нораванк останется самым значимым событием в нашей поездке. Номер один в Армении по нашему мнению. Мы немного изменили программу, заменили посещение винного завода на осмотр крепости Святой Богородицы в селе Арени, построенной тем же архитектором, который принимал участие в строительств монастыря Нораванк. Левон довез нас прямо к церкви, для нас это было откровение. Так же мы увидели древнее кладбище. Очень красиво. Эта церковь словно сама растет из горы к небу. Ну и финалом поездки стал обед предложенный Левоном. Левон за обед и вино отдельное спасибо. Мы вам весь оставшийся вечер желали здоровья. Спасибо компании Йур Сервис.
