In 1985 Levon Arakelyan, a resident of Arinj, started digging a potato cellar below his house. As the digging went on, he had a vision to go deeper and further. Result is a dig that took 23 years and only his own hands and a hammer together with a few other tools. This turned into an astonishing cave 21 m deep and 300 sq.m large. It is not just a regular cave, as Levon used interesting and most unique architectural solutions to decorate everything around. Master Levon passed away few years ago, but his creation is there to keep amazing anyone visiting.
