Practical Info

Each participant will be provided with 2 bottles of 0.5 liters of water (1 liter in total) for the entire trip. If you feel that this amount may not be sufficient for you, you are welcome to bring additional water with you according to your preference.
On Days 2 and 3, a lunch stop is planned where you can choose from 4 set menus (including a vegetarian option) priced at 3900-4900 AMD per person. Day 4 is a shorter tour without a lunch break, but once back in Yerevan you'll easily find many cafes and restaurants near your hotel. For dinner on all tour days, you'll be free to choose and enjoy it on your own once you return to Yerevan after the tours.
Yes, to reach Sevanavank Monastery you'll need to climb about 200 steps. Also, reaching Khor Virap requires going up around 180 m, including stairs. The path to the Birds' Cave also has some steps, but both are well manageable.
You're welcome to simply skip the tasting if you'd like. Still, this part of the tour is not only about sampling wines – it also includes learning about Armenia's winemaking traditions and exploring the variety of local wines.
The lavash baking session is mainly a live demonstration where you'll see how Armenia's traditional flatbread is made, followed by tasting it fresh with cheese and herbs. Participation is sometimes possible, so if you'd like to try helping with the preparation, just let your guide know in advance.

I don't like legends and tell them only when absolutely necessary, and only those that feature real historical figures! Since I was born in the middle of the last century, I talk about some events not as a historian, but as a witness!
