Yes. To reach Sevanavank, you'll need to climb about 200 steps, and at Haghartsin there is a 600-m uphill walk.
You can, indeed, visit the "Treasures of Etchmiadzin" museum while at the Mother Cathedral. Please note, however, that the entrance ticket is not included in the tour package price and should be purchased on site.
