Private tour: Makaravank Monastery, Berkri Gastro Yard, Yell Extreme Park
Makaravank Monastery, Berkri Gastro Yard, Yell Extreme Park
1. Makaravank Monastery
50-60 min
What captivates visitors most are the stone reliefs and intricate ornaments: walls are adorned with interlacing plant motifs, images of animals and fantastic creatures, all carved with remarkable artistry. These decorations tell silent stories, giving the monastery both beauty and symbolic meaning. Makaravank astonishes not only with the skill of its craftsmen but also with a rare sense of wholeness – every building feels like part of a single artistic creation.
In the sunlight, the reddish-pink tuff stone glows with warm shades, highlighting the richness of its forms. Walking through the complex today, one can almost hear the whispers of centuries, when this place was a spiritual and cultural hub where masters created and prayers filled the air. Makaravank remains a sanctuary where history and nature merge in harmony, offering visitors a profound sense of peace and inspiration.
2. Berkri Gastro Yard
60-70 min
The "Berkri" collection features crisp white and deep red dry wines, as well as a special reserve aged 9–12 months in oak barrels, gaining refined tones and a complex bouquet. The welcoming atmosphere of the winery makes every guest feel at home, whether a connoisseur or someone just beginning to discover the world of wine.
Tastings here turn into a celebration – accompanied by crunchy bread, delicate cheeses, bruschetta, lavash rolls and refreshing summer salad, all perfectly paired with the wines. Guests can choose their own tasting format, from a simple introduction to two varieties to a full gastronomic experience with four wines.
Each one reveals its character differently – from the fresh elegance of white to the richness and depth of the red reserve. A visit to "Berkri" is more than a tasting: it is an immersion into a philosophy of winemaking built on respect for nature and tradition.

- 2 types of "Berkri" wine (white-dry and red-dry) served with a bread and cheese plate – 12.14 USD p/p;
