Yes, we suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing for cooler weather outside Yerevan. Women should also avoid overly revealing clothes when visiting churches and monasteries.
Yes, to reach Khor Virap Monastery it is necessary to walk about 180 m, including a staircase. You will also encounter some steps on the way to Birds-Cave. While not too demanding, they might feel a bit challenging for some, but the effort is well rewarded with breathtaking views and a fascinating cave visit.
During the tour, the group will enjoy a short walk along Sharambeyan Street, giving a delightful impression of the town's atmosphere and charm.
Yes, you may visit the "Treasures of Echmiadzin" museum while at the Mother Cathedral. Please note, however, that the entrance ticket is not included in the tour package price and should be purchased separately on site.
The tour includes a visit to the magnificent "Basaltic Organ" formation, but if road conditions prevent access to the canyon, you will instead take part in a sujukh-making master class. Either option ensures an unforgettable experience.
Expect about 1-2 hours of walking to truly take in the city's historical streets and cultural treasures.
