Armenia's landscapes may be impossible to sum up, yet this 7-day route comes close through Garni, Sevan, Khor Virap, Gyumri, Etchmiadzin, Areni and Noravank.

The package is created for moments when the landscape speaks more clearly than words. Basalt cliffs, ropeway views, vineyards, red rock, historic streets, sacred ruins and changing light form a broad Armenian panorama. The scenery changes in a deliberate sequence: volcanic stone first, mountain-lake air next, then wine country, Gyumri's texture and Etchmiadzin's sacred forms.

Garni Temple, the Symphony of Stones, Geghard Monastery and lavash baking begin with sharp lines and an ancient atmosphere. Tsaghkadzor, Kecharis, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank and a relaxed trout barbecue by the shore add brightness and highland openness. The southern road continues to Khor Virap, Birds' Cave, Hin Areni Winery and Noravank, where Ararat views and red cliffs give the scenery its strongest expression.

Gyumri adds the Gyumri Urban Life Museum (Dzitoghtsyan), the Black Fortress, historic streets and Harichavank, while Etchmiadzin, St. Hripsime, St. Gayane and Zvartnots create a sacred ending. This is Armenia told through shapes, colors, horizons and textures.

3* hotels: City Centre Hotel, Elysium Gallery Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Orbeli Hotel or similar.
4* hotels: Ani Central Inn Hotel, Ani Plaza Hotel, Bass Boutique Hotel, President Hotel, Opera Suite Hotel, Median Hotel City Center Yerevan, Hayasa Hotel Yerevan, Felinger Concept Hotel or similar.

Meals

Breakfast: Included in the package and served at the hotel.
Lunch: Not included. For tours over 6 hours, we arrange a restaurant stop. Lunch costs 11 USD – 14 USD, payable directly to the restaurant.
Dinner: Not included.

Deposit

To secure the booking, you can pay just 20% of the package price.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation at least 48 hours before the start of the order, the paid amount is refunded. In case of later cancellation or no-show, 20% of the package price is not refunded.

Practical Info

Is it guaranteed that the tours will always operate with minibuses? I don't feel well in large buses, so this is very important to me.

The vehicle type, either a minibus or a coach, is assigned one day before each tour according to the group size and transport schedule. Both options are modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, Geghard Monastery, and lavash baking tour is the only route that always operates with minibuses because of road conditions. If traveling only by minibus is essential for you, consider a private tour, where the vehicle can be selected according to your preference. This will affect the total tour package price.

Do all the hotels included in your tour packages have a swimming pool and rooms with a balcony? These features are very important to me.

Not all hotels have a swimming pool or rooms with a balcony. Please contact us before booking so we can confirm an option that meets your needs.

How is the lavash baking masterclass organized during the Day 2 tour? Can I try making lavash myself?

The lavash baking experience mainly involves a demonstration of how this traditional Armenian bread is prepared, followed by a tasting with cheese and herbs. If you'd like to join in on the process, please let the tour guide know early on.

How much free time will we have at Lake Sevan on Day 3?

You'll have around one hour to relax on the lakeshore and enjoy the scenery at your own pace.

What if I don't drink wine during the tasting on Day 4?

Participation in the tasting is optional, so you can skip it if you wish. Please note, though, that this stop also highlights Armenia's winemaking heritage and offers a chance to learn about the local varieties.

How much walking is involved in Gyumri on Day 5?

Expect about 1-2 hours of walking to truly discover the charm, architecture, and history of the city.

Is it possible to see the "Treasures of Etchmiadzin" museum during the Day 6 tour?

Yes, you can normally visit the "Treasures of Etchmiadzin" museum during the stop at the Mother Cathedral. However, the museum is closed during Divine Liturgy. The admission ticket is not included in the tour package price and must be purchased on site.

Objednala jsem transfer z nočního letu v 2.30 z Prahy. Řidič Artur na nás čekal s ceduli s jmény a auto bylo v ideálním stavu. Nabídl nám po ceste vodu a odpověděl na všechny dotazy. Diky jeho doporučením jsme navštívili moc zajímavá místa. Cesta na jezero Sevan byla taky s touto společnosti 14.10. a též jsme byli absolutně spokojeni. Průvodce Karen byl kompetentní a zaujal nás svým povídáním a vystupováním. Řidič Karen řídil velice opatrně a byl milý. V autobuse jsme dostali vodu a svačinu. Děkujeme a přejeme hodně stejně spokojených turistů.
