The "Tonatsuyts" Cultural Center, founded in 1999, was created with the mission of preserving and reviving traditional Armenian music, dances and festivals. Over the years, the center has grown into a vibrant stage where the past meets the present and ancient rituals gain a new resonance. In collaboration with ethnographers, historians and folk ensembles, age-old ceremonies have been recreated, now revealed to audiences in fresh and colorful ways. Here visitors can listen to folk songs performed on authentic instruments and watch dances that for centuries accompanied holidays and celebrations.
The atmosphere of the center fills guests with energy, joy and a sense of connection to Armenia's rich culture. Particularly impressive are the festivals, where one can become not just a spectator but a participant, feeling the rhythm and spirit of the people. A trip to "Tonatsuyts" is a rare chance to live one day as our ancestors did, surrounded by music, dance and a warm communal spirit.
At an additional cost it is also possible to order a meal package along with the organized rituals.
The reservations should be made in advance.
