Talin is one of the ancient regions of historical Armenia. It is famous for its great number of monuments, temples, cross-stones. The most famous is Katoghike church, the architectural details of which have some common features with the temple of Zvartnots. The constructor is believed to be Nerseh Kamsarakan, known as "Constructor of churches".
