Until 1954, the Caucasian red deer was widely distributed in the northern, eastern and southern forests of Armenia. However, because of the poaching and deforestation, it gradually disappeared from the territory of Armenia. The resettlement program was initiated in 2013 and as a result there is now a park which is habitat for approximately 26 deer. Deer park aroused the interest and love of both locals and tourists. It is especially attractive for children, because here you are given a chance to not only admire these graceful animals, but also feed them.
