Artem Mikoyan, creative genius and the co-designer of "MIG" fighter jets, and Anastas Mikoyan, one of the longest serving members of the Soviet Politburo – two remarkable figures of Soviet Armenia. A museum was opened in the birthplace of Mikoyan brothers – Sanahin village. The aspect that makes the memorial even more special is the sweeping canopy, hanging over a full-size "MiG 21". Many pictures and artifacts, devoted to their lives and careers, are presented in the museum.
