Lake Parz, lying at 1334 meters above sea level in the Dilijan National Park, is like a precious mirror of nature reflecting the sky and the dense Tavush forests. Formed by natural climatic changes, it has since become one of the most beloved spots for relaxation among both travelers and locals. The shores are covered with rare plants and in spring and summer the air fills with the fragrance of flowers and the songs of forest birds. Walking along the trails around Parz feels like a small journey where every step reveals new views.

Boating is especially popular – the water here is calm and clear and the reflections of clouds and trees create a dreamlike scene. On sunny days the lake shimmers in shades of green and blue, while in misty mornings it seems wrapped in a mysterious veil. In autumn Parz bursts into bright colors as the surrounding forest turns into a golden palette. In winter the lake takes on a special charm – quiet, majestic and as if frozen in time.
